ME.!!!-2025

Installation in public space by Angie Hiesl + Roland Kaiser
with a text by Lothar Kittstein

The installation in public space was already on display in 2019 at Kurt-Hackenberg-Platz in Cologne. In 2025, an updated version is shown at Ebertplatz + Sudermannstraße + Eigelsteintor.

ME.!!!-2025 intervenes in Cologne's urban everyday life with four large red word objects – visually, linguistically and acoustically: from the sculptures, a text by Lothar Kittstein, dealing with the theme of egomania can be heard in a continuous loop.

ME.!!!-2025 confronts passers-by and interested parties with the dangers of a world that is increasingly shaped and dominated by ruthless egos, leading to a regression to a purely binary world view and increasingly forcing the exclusion of those who think differently or are weaker.

ME.!!!-2025 presents the subject as a fragile construct that, in its attempt to assert itself in a confusing world, develops destructive forces.

ME.!!!-2025 seeks to provoke by making each and every individual accountable.
