NO GO

Performance in public space

Borders are the topic of our time. Whether we are talking about external borders,
the relationship between the sexes, or social boundaries – in politics and the
media, but also in everyday social life, the divisions are increasingly hardening.

NO GO as an artistic intervention in urban space, addresses the impact of
discriminatory and exclusionary behaviour.

NO GO highlights moments of resistance and opposition.

NO GO is both performance and protest.

NO GO deliberately intervenes at Cologne’s Ottoplatz, a transit spot where
countless different life paths and ways of living cross every day. At this location
NO GO takes a stand against social division, against exclusion, against all forms of
discrimination: for respect, for tolerance, for diversity.

Dates: July 16, 17 + 18 and August 6 + 7 + 8, 2026, each at 6 PM.
Location: Ottoplatz in front of Cologne-Deutz train station

NO GO is funded by: the City of Cologne, the Ministry of Culture and Science of
NRW, the NRW Art Foundation.
