AUSSER_ORDENTLICH deals with four decades of performance art by Angie Hiesl + Roland Kaiser. With selected performative productions, a multimedia exhibition and discursive formats, they look back on their interventions in private and public urban space. At the same time, they also look forward.
The project begins in September 2023 and will continue until late 2024.

Adaptation (Premiere 2022)
In an interweaving of reality and fiction, AUFGELÖST brings the private and extremely taboo subject of death into public. The project takes the final dissolution of a household after the death of a person as an opportunity to reflect performatively on the themes of dissolving, transience and new beginnings.

We invite the audience to a conversation about the themes of life, death, transience, and memories and the previously seen performance of AUFGELÖST.
A loved person is no longer there. What remains is an intimate world of legacies that bear the traces of a time lived. How do we deal with this? With the grief, the memories, the things left behind?
Get involved and ask our guests about their experiences and perspectives on the lasting and the evanescent.
